History: Established Bylaws, Article IV, Sec. 4.20
Members: (From AAS Bylaws, Art. IV): The Nominating Committee shall be a standing Advisory Committee of the Society consisting of five (5) Members of the Society, including the Past-President of the Society. (Sec. 4.20(a))
Term: Each Past-President shall serve a two (2) year term as Chair of the Nominating Committee (the year that such individual serves as Past-President and the following year). Each other member of the Nominating Committee shall be elected by the Members from among the candidates selected in accordance with these Bylaws, and shall serve a two (2) year term. The terms of the members shall be staggered so that two (2) members are elected each year. (Sec. 4.20(c))

Charge: The Nominating Committee shall nominate officers and At-Large Trustees for election by the Members in accordance with these Bylaws and perform such other duties as determined by policy of the Board of Trustees. (Sec. 4.20(b))
