54th Annual Meeting of the Division for Planetary Sciences
London, Ontario & Virtually Anywhere
2 – 7 October 2022

Yom Kippur, one of the Jewish High Holidays, occurs from Tuesday night to Wednesday night during our conference. Consequently, as we welcome our attendees to London, we would also like to draw attention to our local Jewish synagogues. For those conference participants who wish to observe the holiday with the Jewish community, there are several local temples available.

Congregation Or Shalom

Tuesday, October 4th at 6:35 pm
Wednesday, October 5th at 9:30 am and 5:30 pm

Important Requirements and Information:

  • Bring proof of double vaccination in PAPER form (Electronics prohibited on Yom Kippur) or email it to the office at office@orshalomlondon.org by Friday, September 30th.
  • Bring student or faculty ID
  • Masks currently required, subject to change

Congregation Beth Tefilah

  • Masks required at events with large numbers of people (such as High Holiday services)

Temple Israel of London

Tues, Oct 4: Erev Yom Kippur/Kol Nidre, 7:30 - 9:15 pm
Wed, Oct 5: Yom Kippur morning, 10 am -12:30 pm 
    Healing Service  4-5 pm
    Afternoon Yizkor  5-6 pm
    Closing N'ilah  6-7 pm
