The Annual Review of Astronomy and Astrophysics, in publication since 1963, covers significant developments in the astronomical sciences, including such topics as the Sun, our solar system and extrasolar planets, stars and star clusters, the interstellar medium, our galaxy and other galaxies, active galactic nuclei, cosmology, instrumentation and techniques, and the history of the development of new areas of research.

The 2022 edition, Vol. 60, is now available online and in print. The 11 reviews in this volume, edited by Ewine van Dishoeck and Robert C.
