Live Q&A Sessions
- These sessions are a mix of pre-recorded oral presentations and iPosters (see below for specific instructions regarding the presentation types).
- Live Q&A sessions will have a dedicated slack channel to discuss relevant topics and specific presentations.
- Attendees should watch the pre-recorded talks and view iPosters ahead of the session, and are encouraged to ask questions in slack as soon as they think of them.
- Live Q&A sessions will be held on Zoom.
- Presenters must upload a one slide summary, which should describe “what’s the most important take-away / most exciting result from your presentation?”.
- Upload instructions can be found here: https://warpspeedtech.com/dps2021summary-slide-uploader/
- Deadline to upload summary slides is 9 September 2021.
- These sessions will begin with lightning summaries from each presenter: < 5 minutes
- Each of these should be ~30 seconds each
- Tech support will present and click through the summary slides that were previously uploaded. Participants will not be able to share screens
- Questions and Answers: ~20 minutes
- Audience questions will be submitted via the session slack channel
- The zoom chat will redirect participants to the session slack channel, so there is a record and presenters can follow up after the session if desired.
- Presenters are encouraged to reserve their answers until the zoom Q&A
- Session chairs will select questions from the slack channel and present them out loud and presenters will respond in kind. Again, do not try to share screens.
- After the live session, Q&A will continue on the session slack channel, where there will be plenty of time for follow-up!
